SWEET POTATO FLOUR 

Sweet potato flour is gluten-free, nutrient-dense and all-around healthier alternative to traditional flours. It is finely milled from naturally grown, sweet potato – a high-fiber, antioxidant-rich root tuber known to be a superfood. Naturally sweet, it enhances both sweet and savory dishes, delivering plenty of taste and nutrition. It is incredibly versatile and used in a variety of applications, including baked goods, pastries, pastas, soups, smoothies, breading and as a thickener for sauces and gravies. It can be mixed with other flours and holds moisture well when cooking, bringing out a richness of flavor in every recipe. Its striking orange or purple hue is completely natural!

SWEET CASSAVA FLOUR

Native to South America, cassava is a starchy, high-carbohydrate root vegetable or tuber, also known as yuca. Organic cassava flour is made from the whole organic cassava root. It is gluten, grain and nut-free. With an extra-fine and powdery texture, it has a neutral and mild flavor. Unlike other gluten-free flours, organic cassava flour can easily replace on a 1:1 basis traditional all-purpose flours in many recipes, making it a preferred healthier alternative for cooking and baking.

BANANA FLOUR 

Banana flour is one of the best gluten-free alternatives to processed wheat flour; high in essential minerals and vitamin, and low in natural sugars and calories. Made from fresh, unripe bananas, this flour has a very subtle banana flavor that blends well with other ingredients, especially when making baked goods. The easiest way to use banana flour is to add it to a smoothie or protein shake. However, due to its high starch content, it can be substituted in any recipe that uses regular flour.

PUMPKIN FLOUR 

Pumpkin flour is a nutrient-dense gluten-free food, rich in vitamins and minerals and low in fat. Naturally sweet and irresistible, it can perfectly substitute traditional flours to add more nutrition and a touch of flavor. Pumpkin flour is used to prepare non-traditional breads, cookies and other baked goods, and can be added to different sauces and used to bread meat, fish and vegetables.

GINGER FLOUR

Made from fresh, dried ginger root, this flour is a fine powder that has a strong aroma and pungent flavor. It is used for adding a sweet yet spicy flavor to a variety of dishes, but is best used in sweet dishes such as biscuits, desserts, ginger breads and cakes. Ginger flour contains numerous vitamins and minerals, with highly potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

PLANTAIN FLOUR

The nutritional value of plantain flour makes it a healthier substitute for wheat flour and other traditional all-purpose flours. It is gluten-free with a high resistant starch content and a low glycemic index. When substituting plantain flour for regular flour in baking recipes a little goes a long way, as only three-quarters as much is needed.

POTATO FLOUR 

Potato flour is obtained from milling dehydrated potatoes to a fine-textured powder. Although it resembles wheat flour in texture and feel, it is much more nutritious – packed with essential vitamins and minerals. Potato flour is often used for gluten-free baking, providing a distinct flavor and improving qualities such as color, aroma, texture and moisture. It is also used as a batter or coating for meats and fish, particularly in deep-frying, and as a thickener for soups and gravies.

MALANGA FLOUR

Malanga is a hypoallergenic root vegetable with a high nutritional value, widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical regions. Milled into flour, malanga can be used as a substitute for wheat flour when making foods such as pancakes, bread, cookies, doughnuts or muffins. It is a natural thickener, and makes stews and soups creamy.
